iPadOS 14: Has Apple Beaten the Competition Again?

So, iPadOS 14 has been released and boy, was it a wait. I mean, I was refreshing again and again and again to see if the update was live (while also checking the large amount of memes on Twitter about the same topic) or not at 12 midnight and finally, I gave up and went to sleep. In the morning, the first thing I did was to start the iPadOS 14 update on my iPad. Now that I have been using it for a day, I can give my first impressions. And please don't forget to share this post with others if you like it, as it really helps. First up, the Apple Pencil features. My favorite feature, Scribble, is also a part of these features. The iPad can now automatically convert handwritten text into typed text which can be used in any text field. Now, you have the option to type, erase, and select text just by using the Apple Pencil. They work even better than I expected. In fact, this article was also written with the Apple Pencil on my iPad.   The notes app has also been updated to wo...

iPad Air 4: Extremely Unexpected

So, Apple, at the Time Flies event, released several things, like the Apple Watches 6 and SE, Apple One, but the most interesting of them all was perhaps the all-new iPad Air 4 th generation or iPad Air 2020. It comes with the new iPadOS 14 and looks promising. In fact, it could even be the iPad Pro killer, considering its price and its specs, and that’s exactly what we’re going to talk about today. Please be sure to share this post with as many people as you can, as that would really help this blog. The first thing is the price. The iPad Air starts at Rs. 54900 (599 USD in the US), and will start selling in India from next month. Starts means that’s the price for the 64GB variant, and we don’t know 256GB variant, but the American price for it is 749 USD. The processor is, of course, Apple’s own A14 Bionic chip, which is completely amazing. It’s Apple’s best and most powerful chip yet, and is simply amazing. It’s one of the best chips on the market right now, and any type of heavy wor...

LG Wing: The Most Innovative Implementation of Dual-Screens Yet

So, LG has officially announced its swively phone: the LG wing. It’s very unique, to say the least. It has two screens, a larger one and a smaller one. But the implementation of these screens is very different from any other dual-screen phone on the market. The screens here are stacked on top of each other and the larger screen is on top. So, how do you get to the second screen? Well, it should be pretty obvious by now that you have to swivel away the first screen to use the second. You can use both screens at the same time and it looks like a T-shape. Now, let’s get into the specs and use cases for this phone. We don’t have a price on it yet but we can discuss the specs and features without the price. Do keep in mind that I cannot make a recommendation on it yet. With all that out of the way, let’s get into it.  LG Wing: The Swively Phone First things first, it’s a 5G phone, so that’s a good thing. The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. It comes in two versions, one with 8GB...

Samsung Galaxy M51: Truly a Monster?

So, the Samsung Galaxy M51 was released recently and it looks promising. Samsung has marketed it as the “Meanest Monster Ever,” (and has made a competition for that title with a green, weird-looking monster called “Mo-B”, apparently?) and we’ll see whether it’s really worth it.  Galaxy M51 The most noticeable thing here is the battery. This phone has a giant battery: 7000mAh. This is the first 7000mAh battery in India, and it lasts LONG, at least 1 day. Up to 64 hours calling, 24 hours web browsing and 182 hours music or so Samsung says. The phone comes with a 25W fast charger in the box, which can charge from 0-100% in about 2 hours, along with reverse-charging, which means that you can charge another phone from it too.  Then there’s the processor: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, which is has a clock of up to 2.2GHz and the “G” means it’s for gaming, which means even better performance. It also has an Adreno 618 GPU with a game-booster. That is some serious power, and is good for...

ROG Phone 3 - Packed Full of Performance

So, the ROG Phone 3 was announced and, as always, it has become the best and the fastest phone on the market right now. When the first ROG Phone was announced I had all the good things to say about it. Now, with ROG Phone 3 too I have a lot of good things to say. The first thing is the price. This phone starts at Rs.49,999 in India (around 670 USD) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant. Let us talk about the specs in detail. First up the design. Now, I know that design is not a specification and design is subjective, but hear me out. Last year the phone had a very gamer-esque aesthetic with the copper vent and a really heavy design. This year however is much more on the lighter side. I personally like this design choice. If you are a non gamer who wants to buy this phone, this looks a lot more subtle and simple compared to the previous one and in a good way. Image Credit: ASUS Next up the processor. It comes with the Snapdragon 865+ processor which is an absolute beast. It is the be...

Surface Book 3 is Amazing and You Should Try It

So, Microsoft has announced the Surface Book 3 and it will be releasing on the 5th of June. I personally am very excited about this device. It is a 2-in-1 Laptop with a detachable screen. Just this makes this device worthwhile for many people. But it is still a debatable topic. Some people like the detachable screen, others think it is a gimmick. I am a big fan of this feature. This might be an unpopular opinion but hear me out. The detachable screen is not as smooth as detaching an iPad from the Magic Keyboard but, it is 2-3 times faster than the previous generation. Also unlike the previous generation where you had to close all the apps using the discrete GPU, the process is now much smoother as the apps using the discrete GPU automatically shift to the Integrated GPU. How Convenient!  Talking about the GPU lets come to the specifications. For the purpose of this blog, I am considering a 15-inch screen. Why? I’ll talk about it later. For the specs, I have chosen the i7 ...

Galaxy Tab S6 Lite: Finally A Good Budget Android Tablet

Samsung has launched the support pages for the leaked Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Also Samsung Indonesia’s store page , has already listed the Tab S6 Lite. So, what is this tab like? One word - Awesome. This tab packs a punch and is here to compete with apple’s iPad. Price wise the Tab S6 Lite is expected to come at about Rs.29,999. Compare this to the iPad which comes at Rs.29,990. But, the thing with Tab S6 Lite is that it comes with a S-Pen out of the box. However, with the iPad you have to spend another Rs.8000 to Rs.9000 to get an Apple Pencil. This substantial increase in the price just to get an accessory which Samsung includes out of the box, makes me like the Tab S6 Lite more than the iPad.  Let’s go more in depth and talk about the specs. It has the Exynos 9611 chipset which is Samsung’s gold standard for budget devices nowadays. It is more than enough for getting your basic tasks done even for gaming. You can get smooth performance both in normal tasks and in gaming. M...
