So, the Samsung Galaxy M51 was released recently and it looks promising. Samsung has marketed it as the “Meanest Monster Ever,” (and has made a competition for that title with a green, weird-looking monster called “Mo-B”, apparently?) and we’ll see whether it’s really worth it.

The most noticeable thing here is the battery. This phone has a giant battery: 7000mAh. This is the first 7000mAh battery in India, and it lasts LONG, at least 1 day. Up to 64 hours calling, 24 hours web browsing and 182 hours music or so Samsung says. The phone comes with a 25W fast charger in the box, which can charge from 0-100% in about 2 hours, along with reverse-charging, which means that you can charge another phone from it too.
Then there’s the processor: a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, which is has a clock of up to 2.2GHz and the “G” means it’s for gaming, which means even better performance. It also has an Adreno 618 GPU with a game-booster. That is some serious power, and is good for both heavy-workloads and powerful gaming.
The next thing is the memory. It has two variants, the 6GB 128GB variant, and the other is the 8GB 128GB variant. The memory options in this phone are great, and you can do basically anything you want on this phone, whether it’s making calls, watching videos, browsing the web, working or gaming. The memory in this phone is great for anyone and for anything.
The next thing I want to talk about is the price. This thing has a surprisingly low price, considering the power that it has. It’s only Rs. 24,999 on Amazon and on Samsung’s official website for the 6GB variant, and Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB variant, with the sale starting on 18th September at 12 noon. That price is very low, especially if you want to make this phone your main phone that you’ll use all the time.
This phone has a quad camera, with the main camera being 64 MP, the ultra-wide camera being 12MP, the macro camera being 5MP, and the depth camera also being 5MP. If you’re a normal the user, you probably only registered the quad camera and 64MP part, but in case your mind is going in the direction of 256MP, please read it again. This camera also has panorama and HDR, along with 4K 30FPS and 1080p 30FPS video. The selfie camera is 32MP, with 1080p 30FPS video, and it’s not a notch or a water-drop or anything like that. It’s just a simple hole-punch or Infinity-O display as Samsung likes to call it.
As most people will notice, the camera specs in this phone are absolutely insane. This camera more than works for a normal person, but if you’re a YouTuber and you don’t have your camera with you, you can sit down and record in 4K with this thing.
It has a 16.95cm (6.7”) sAMOLED plus Infinity-O display, with a resolution of 1080 x 2340, and an aspect ratio of 20:9. For a simpler explanation, all your stuff will look great on this display.
It has speakers, along with a 3.5mm audio jack, and it also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an accelerometer, a proximity sensor and a gyroscope. The OS is Android 10, with One UI 2.0. It has two colours: Celestial Black and Electric Blue, both of which look extremely beautiful. It’s only 9.5mm thick, and is extremely light-weight at only 213g, and is made completely in India.
Now, as a conclusion, should you buy it? Absolutely. I think that this phone is going to do great on the market. Samsung was obviously targeting mid-range users who like power in their phones. The price and the specs speak for that. The price is great for normal users, and this phone has a lot of power in it, whether you need to make calls, do some work on the go or do some gaming. This is one of the best phones from Samsung, and it gets 5 stars from me.
Going great 🤠😉
ReplyDeleteIt is too good
ReplyDeleteGood elaborate review. If the camera real life performance lives upto its specifications then it's definitely a good buy for mid range buyers.
